This will be our home away from home for the next 10 or 11 days. We've given her a good scrubbing and cleaned out the cabin like any good sailor would do before setting out on a voyage. All systems are check and ready to shove off. We spent the weekend stocking the cupboards and gathering necessities.
Special thanks to Marie for staying at the house and looking after the animals for us while we're gone. Also, since I know my office family will be checking in on our progress here I want to thank them for holding down the fort for me.
Two more days to tie up loose ends at the office and then we're off.
