The Narrows Trail at Zion NP

This is my favorite part of Zion. The Narrows Trail essentially follows the river up the canyon, sometimes on land created by sandbars and washes but mostly just through the water. Avery and Erin couldn't wait to wade in the river, so they didn't need any prodding to take this hike. In the pictures below, Holly stands with the girls taking pride in their accomplishment of making it this far. Also, I am showing the girls a waterfall. We were putting our hands on the cliff face and letting the water splash us. The cool part about this trail is that the farther you go up the river the narrower and steeper the canyon walls get. In some places you can reach out and touch both sides of the canyon at the same time. In some of those narrow places, deep pools have formed forcing you to swim to the next shallow area. Of course, we didn't go that far.

Avery and Erin had an absolute blast. Although Erin got a little perturbed at us having a laugh at her expense. I'll post that picture next.
